Angelina Jolie NOT “Convinced” Brad Pitt, Marion Cotillard Had “Affair”
The fabrication factory known as HollywoodLife falsely announces in a headline, “Brangelina: She’s Convinced He Had Affair With Marion Cotillard: Timing Was ‘Suspicious.'” In the accompanying “exclusive” (cough), it’s said, “Marion Cotillard and Brad Pitt may be denying any and all accusations that they had an affair, but that doesn’t matter to Angelina Jolie,” who is supposedly “totally convinced her hubby cheated with the actress” while filming Allied.
“Angelina totally believes that Brad had an affair with Marion when they were shooting the movie,” a so-called “source” is quoted as telling the webloid. The supposed snitch goes on to note, “During filming their relationship was especially strained. So the timing is particularly suspicious.” Yet the dynamic between Jolie and Pitt in no way guarantees he cheated on her with Cotillard.
Here’s what’s going on: Jolie and Pitt’s divorce was announced last Tuesday. That same day, rumors of an “affair” between Pitt and Cotillard were shot down. For HollywoodLies to now be peddling them again a week later, given its poor track record when it comes to such “exclusives,” is simply inexcusable.
The site has been on the warpath over the last week, crafting inaccurate story after inaccurate story, all to capitalize on the attention surrounding the Brangelina breakup. And yet the outlet has repeatedly demonstrated that its “sources,” if they even really exist, don’t know what they’re talking about. Just check our archives, as the erroneous stories are all there.
Now this is another one to add the ever-growing list. Pitt and Cotillard did not have an affair. Jolie is not “convinced” otherwise. Gossip Cop, however, is convinced that HollywoodLies is just as bad as ever.
