Angela Miller Gets Standing Ovation on Idol After Performing Original Song (VIDEO)

Angela Miller could be well on her way to being music’s next big star, if the reaction from the “American Idol” judges on Thursday’s show was any indication.

The contestant received a standing ovation from the entire panel after shocking them during Hollywood Week with an amazing original song called “You Set Me Free.”

The judges went as far as predicting that viewers will want to download the track immediately, and speculating that it could be on the Top 40 music chart if it was released professionally.

    Its amazing that a song with such powerful lyrics was written by an 18 year old beautiful young lady. Such that it would invoke this 45 year old man to take the time to comment. Angela appears to be the complete package..the voice..the looks…and an old soul hidden within this beautiful young lady. Bravo Angela! Regardless of the outcome of the show…that performance already made you a star!!

    Last year I’d say Phillip Phillips wrapped it up with “You Got it Bad” on Top 7 week, you could just feel it right then. This year I’d say Angie wrapped it up in Hollywood week! Look at these posts and the ages and genders of the posters, it will be very hard for someone to have a performance to make people forget Angie’s “You Set Me Free” and vote for someone else. American Idol is the real winner here I guarantee their ratings will soar this year with people tuning in to see what next Angie has in store for us!

    During Hollywood week, she had to cram in the best of the song within a small amount of time. She blew everyone away with just a sample of it. Once in a studio with some studio musicians and a full complete version (No back-up vocals please). This song will be a chart topper for weeks…You go Angie! That smile she gives at the very very end of the song told me she was happy to have finally been heard. Her song, the message it sends and her voice finally got in front of the kind of people who can get it heard by the world. It’s a smile of true humble happiness and satisfaction of a job well done.
