Andy Samberg gave out his actual HBO Now account login name and password on Sunday’s Emmy Awards. And it was tied to the HBO series “Game Of Thrones.” Watch the funny video below!

During the broadcast of the 67th annual Emmys, Samberg brought up how HBO’s CEO has gone on the record saying he doesn’t mind if subscribers share their HBO Now passwords with other people. As a result, Samberg decided to reveal his account information to the world. “Luckily for you, the CEO of HBO recently said he doesn’t think password-sharing for their streaming services is a problem,” said Samberg, adding, “So here’s my HBO Now login!”

And with that, Samberg said, “The user name is The password is, of course, password1. Got to have a number in there to throw them off the scent.” The Emmys host continued, “But this is 100 percent real. So all to our millions of viewers, everyone out there, go to town! Check out ‘Game of Thrones,’ watch a buttload of ‘Arliss.’ HBO doesn’t care, they said so on the record.”

The most shocking aspect of the bit is that the username and password actually functional. HBO confirmed as much in a tweet, writing, “Lucky for you, @AndySamberg is a very generous #Emmys host.” Unfortunately, the streaming service was only available to access for a limited amount of time and has now been deactivated.
