Andy Grammer performed “Good To Be Alive (Hallelujah)” during Thursday’s 2015 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Watch below!
Grammer was one of more than 8,000 (!) participants in the 89th annual event. Other music stars who delighted the millions of spectators and the millions more watching on television included Mariah Carey, Shawn Mendes, Prince Royce, Jordin Sparks, and Jake Owen. And Grammer flew cross-country in order to join the festivities.
On Tuesday night, the singer was in Los Angeles for the “Dancing with the Stars” finale. As Gossip Cop reported, he was the sixth to be eliminated on season 21, getting the boot with partner Allison Holker earlier this month. He and the other eliminated dancers, however, all returned to take part in the show’s first-ever finale celebration at The Grove, a shopping center in L.A.
There, Grammer also sang “Good To Be Alive (Hallelujah)” on an outdoor stage decked out for the holiday season. It was the perfect practice before singing on the streets of Manhattan for the Thanksgiving parade. Grammer’s other big performances this year have included the “American Idol” finale, a stop on Taylor Swift’s “1989 World Tour,” and the World Series last month.
