I just watched the Tuesday, June 26th episode of the show, and I cannot believe that Andrew De Leon was sent home!! The show is a silly replica of its former self of years past. I do not like the way it was put to the contestents with the “favorites” list, it added undue pressure on these “favorite” and then to dismiss them after a small mistake or [due to nerves] someone with De Leon’s talent is beyond my comprehension! I’m hoping someone out in this great country will take his great voice, nuture it and give him the chance he deserves, so I can have the pleasure of listening to him again!!

DeLeon blew it in Vegas. All he had to do was do as good as his original audition and he’d be in. It wouldn’t be fair if they put him through after messing up the way he did.

Andrew got eliminated big deal. The guy BLEW IT. Fact is he froze and couldn’t even continue with his performance. Yeah he kicked ass at the audition, but basing his performance at LV, he deserved to be eliminated, plain and simple. Everyone who says otherwise aren’t looking at this objectively.

Andrew did have a great voice, he amazed America with his audition, yes. But when it truly counted on his Vegas audition he chocked, he got too nervous and it showed through. It wasn’t his time. Like the judges said, Andrew clearly hadn’t tried to get over his stage fright. To say that you’ll stop watching the show over one singer is insane, he was great but not that great. Don’t stop watching other incredible acts just because one didn’t go through. The judge’s decision was fair, Andrew didn’t deserve to go through after stopping and waiting out the rest of the music.

I was mad as hell when they sent Andrew DeLeon home. I HOPE someone out there saw him and gives him the chance he deserves! I don’t like opera, but that does not alter the fact that he sings it beautifully. Keep on going Andrew…..YOU’VE GOT TALENT! These shows are getting old. I can’t tell you the winners of any of them. Then after they win, they are never heard from again. Andrew de leon was the only one that left an impact. After last night I saw only forgetable acts. That was my last time watching. These shows are all alike. Boring!!

seriously Mr. Stern? Tiny Tim? There is a difference between a male soprano and a falsetto joke, my friend. I am shocked and amazed at the lack of forethought exhibited by the judges. I attended an opera where the coloratura sat to write a note at her desk, a very tender moment. The air conditioner blew the candles out and knocked them over. When the signer, who stood a good six feet and had a queenly figure, stood to get away from the mess, her voluminous skirts got stuck under her seat. She signaled the Maestro: shall we try this again? and he DID. I hope that Andrew DeLeon skims over this event and graces us with many many more performances

Pretty lame to let him go because he got nervous. It’s a show for discovering new talent… lots of undiscovered new talent hasn’t spent a large portion of their life in front of millions of people. Sharon Osbourne pushed Ulysses Long through because “He walks on like Yogi Bear, and he has a great voice,” …. Karaoke version of “Secret Agent Man”… Sure, the guy is cuddly and goofy, but c’mon…. Hey BooBoo, what’s wrong with this picture?

He was eliminated because they felt that he couldn’t perform. He couldn’t deliver a second time, they probably felt that if he couldn’t deliver in front of the three of them and a handful of other people on stage, then how would he fare in New York where all of America could see him? They made the right choice in taking him out, he wasn’t ready to showcase his talent on a nationwide level.

I was sooo wanting to see more of Andrew. I am another one who will not be wating AGT anymore this season. Yes, he choked up, but I think the judges should have asked him to start over again, just as they let the comedian start over. The show had a lot more viewers more likely because of Andrew, and now they have no reason to watch it.

You do a good job defending the judges’ decision; however, I disapprove because a diamond in the rough is cast aside. I would not have been as upset had the judges’ not gleefully put through the nut smasher with Stern commenting that it would be the million dollar winner. After having enjoyed this season so much, last evening simply left the taste of ashes in my mouth. From being ever gracious and gentle, the judges became leaden and smug and well, just horribly rude imo. A real turnoff for me. I am hopeful Andrew might get a wildcard chance. Hoping also the nut smasher goes home. A sad commentary on talent in America when such a disgusting performance is presented to the world as American Talent. While I’m sounding off, might as well say I think we need an AGT for children.

Couldn’t believe they cut Andrew… I’m hoping that America will vote him back in (as I believe happened in another season at some point).

I think they did this for ratings, but they’re losing people instead. (I mean, just look at the comments.)

I bet it’s just wishful thinking, but after all, they kept 7-8-7 (that dance crew from Puerto Rico) after the one guy flipped and hit the others head. (then again, at least they kept going)

I don’t if any of you have ever sang in front of a big audience, it is nerve wracking (even still when you are used to it). This guy had only ever sang in front of people one other time, his audition. Skill speaks for itself, human compassion from the judges is clearly limited. Some of the acts they put through I am seriously smacking myself in the face over. I don’t know how or why they think any of those acts people will watch for. Andrew was the star and they screwed it up.

Andew De Leon gave hope to all that thought they were never going to amount to anything, and believe everyone that said ” your just not good enough.” I would love it { and so would a lot of people I know} if you would give Andrew another chance. I’m bummed that Andrew De Leon was eliminated. I’d rooted for him and I wanted him to be Americas Got Talent winner. I know that he may have chocked, but I think he shouldn’t have eliminated him. I never miss my show because I work during that time that’s no exception. I upgraded to the Hopper to get all my PrimeTime Anytime shows without having to pick and choose. Now I can use the new Auto Hop feature to watch Americas Got Talent commercial free, which had me stoked after my coworker at Dish showed me how it works. The new Auto Hop feature takes the work out of manually fast forwarding commercials. Since I don’t watch my primetime recordings for a day or so after they record. This will save some wear and tear on the remote, and I won’t have to replace it again.

He didn’t deserve it and I’m being objective. Big Barry sucks and he got through. Shanice’s father is dead weight, yet they were allowed through. Howie said the guy who gets kicked in the nuts could win. When you think of those acts, justifying Andrew’s elimination isn’t so easy anymore – and it IS a big deal if they want the best ratings possible. This would be equivalent to them cutting Michael Grimm for going over his time two years ago. Back then, they had the sense to overlook these things and give 2nd chances to REAL talent.

I just erased all episodes of america’s got talent. I quit. To let a voice like that go……. He has a voice that is more than rair, It may come along once in a lifetime. What gets me is that they got rid of a kid with real talent…and let through Big Barry…wtf you know? He wasn’t funny…he couldn’t sing…yet he continued. Andrew had REAL talent that was hidden because pretentious jerks of the world made him feel like crap and it’ll probably get hidden again because of the fact they chose someone with no talent what-so-ever over him.

Many of you may remember X Factor last year, when Simon Caldwell eliminated Melanie Amaro, after thinking it over he knew he made a mistake, went to her house and asked her to come back on the show, she ended up being the Winner for the season. It took guts for Simon to do that, and some times talent does slip by, I just hope the judges think about that. Sharon knows from experience that people can get a wrong wrap, this does need a second chance.

The purpose of the show should be to find talent and great acts, not judge on a nervous error at audition…right? A judge with any sense would have had Andrew to take 5, have a glass of water, return to the stage and show what he really has. This is a recorded and edited show after all. Well Andrew has it! He may not have moved on in this competition but I have no doubt that now that the world has seen him his life will never be the same.

I hope they bring him back or someone can give him a chance. I think he was too emotional and he got lost in the emotions of the song but that shouldn’t have been a reason to send him home. I was very sad to see then do that but it will not keep me from watching the show, I would hate to miss another Andrew because I was rebelling about the bad decision they made. They make decisions I don’t like all of the time. Andrew has talent but I think they made him feel like a reject, something he has come to expect from people. I hope he knows how many people would never reject him. I hope we will be seeing him again somewhere.

I have never seen any other season of this show and just HAPPENED to be watching it the episode Andrew first came on, and continued to watch it ONLY to see him! I am disgusted and shocked that they kicked Andrew off and let some of the other untalented idiots they did thru to New Jersey (fat albert? really? and a guy who gets his nuts kicked is TALENT? I too love Andrew! That’s a voice worth waiting for. It went flawless,his first audition. Then they had to go can him on the Vegas show. Those of us who are old enough will remember that AGT is only a flashier, upgraded version of a cheesy 70′s show called “The Gong Show”. But it took only one judge to hit the gong to get rid of the rotten apples. Too bad they didn’t give the judges the boot before they took Andrew de Leon off the stage.

Howard Stern was quoted saying that they were protecting their credibility as judges by deciding against putting Andrew through, and yet Big Barry and Ulysses were both sent to the quarter finals. What a joke.

I hope Andrew Lloyd Webber was watching…

I can’t wait to see Andrew de Leon on stage, once a REAL judge and master takes him under his wing.

I hope that Andrew De Leon doesn’t let this unhappy experience be the end of his story. That he was able to come so far on his own shows that he has talent & determination. . Andres is without any doubt the very best talent on AGT this year. To send him home was the worst decision those judges have ever make, Give me a break! Howard, Sharon and Howie how could you do that to Andrew when many other acts made mistakes and then were given second chance. Andrea has superior, self taught, talent second to nobody. So he got nervous. He should have been allowed to take a deep breath and start again, which by way, is what the judges gave to that awful comedy act, not to mention Big Barry..what a joke. I think I speak for a lot of loyal viewers, PLEASE give Andres that “wild card” slot. Andres deserves another chance for many reasons. He was told on his initial have performance that he would have a very good chance of winning and then to make him go home just because he got nervous is so unfair. If he didn’t have a very special talent it would be different, but he does have wonderful talent and really deserves another chance. Many of us just watched the show to see Andrew and to hear him sing. He said he has always been put down and never had any respect. He had a chance to change his life and he was dismissed like yesterdays trash. PLEASE make all of us really happy and give Andrew that “wild card” spot. I love AMT but I am so upset about this that I cant even watch. Letting him go was a bad decision..one that needs to be fixed by letting him come back.

You may have sent Andrew De Leon home because he made one little mistake, but the show is not about eliminating talented people who make a minor flaw and sending through people who get their acts perfect.
