Andi Dorfman And Josh Murray “Bitter” Split Secretly Happened Months Ago?
As Gossip Cop reported, Dorfman and Murray became engaged on “The Bachelorette” last year, and though the relationship was going well for a while, like most “Bachelor” romances, it eventually fizzled out. The reality stars announced they amicably called it quits last week, but In Touch is insistent that the breakup was both “bitter” and hidden from the public for quite some time.
A so-called Dorfman “pal” alleges to the tabloid, “They were living a lie for a long time. When they got back home [to Atlanta] the day after the ‘Bachelor’ premiere, it was clear things were over.” The alleged friend goes on to call the split “really messy and super bitter.” The supposed “pal” slams Murray as “very controlling,” and In Touch claims his “temper and immaturity had been causing problems since the beginning.” “She’s known for a while it wasn’t working,” the outlet’s source further says.
Meanwhile, a supposed “pal” of Murray claims to In Touch that he was duped by Dorfman, who supposedly harbored secret Hollywood ambitions. “When he proposed, he thought they were going to stay in Georgia and have babies and be near his family,” spills the alleged tipster. “He didn’t know she wanted to move to L.A. He feels like Andi wanted that life more than him. He’s really, really upset.”
“They just couldn’t pretend anymore,” In Touch quotes its source as saying, as if the magazine doesn’t “pretend” to have accurate celebrity dish. In fact, the publication has been pretending to have inside details about the “Bachelor” franchise for years. Back in 2012, In Touch falsely speculated that Courtney Robertson was pregnant with “Bachelor” Ben Flajnik’s baby, and just last year wrongly said Juan Pablo Galavis was quitting the show.
Worst of all, In Touch fabricated a story last July claiming Dorfman was pregnant after a “passionate night in the Fantasy Suite.” Their sources haven’t gotten any better since then, and not surprisingly, the made-up pregnancy isn’t mentioned in the new article, even though the outlet purports to have the real story of her time with Murray.
As Gossip Cop reported at the time, Dorfman blasted the baby claim, and she even slammed false split rumors last September. In any case, a rep for Murray now tells Gossip Cop that the magazine’s story is “completely false,” stressing that he and Dorfman only just ended their engagement, not a long time ago, as In Touch suggests.
