Amy Winehouse Autopsy Inconclusive

Amy Winehouse‘s initial autopsy results are inconclusive.

The process was just completed at St. Pancras Mortuary in London, but officials now must wait for additional lab work to determine what led to the 27-year-old singer’s death on Saturday.

“It did not establish a formal cause of death and we await the results of further toxicology tests,” read a police statement.

At this stage, Winehouse’s passing is still considered “unexplained.”

Earlier today, the late singer’s parents and fans gathered to mourn near her London residence.
