Amy Purdy Gets Perfect Score After Dancing with the Stars Injury (VIDEO)
Amy Purdy made an unbelievable comeback on Monday’s “Dancing with the Stars,” one week after suffering a back injury.
As Gossip Cop reported, the paralympian was rushed to the hospital during last week’s live show, and was later diagnosed with a “rib out of place.” But Purdy was cleared to dance, and her Argentine tango with Derek Hough was beyond incredible.”
Guest judge Amy Lee Miller of “Dance Moms” called Hough’s choreography “brilliant,” and told Purdy, “Amy, my students are here this evening. And I better never ever, ever hear ‘I’m too tired.”
“Look at this woman!” she declared. “Amazing.” Bruno Tonioli then called Purdy “Amazing Amy,” and said the performance was “perfection.” “That was totally spell-binding. I feel like I’m in a trance,” he added.
Carrie Ann Inaba told the athlete, “I swear I felt like I stopped breathing three times because what you’re doing is incredible. “You’re in a class all on your own,” she went on. “Everything was perfection.” And Len Goodman said, “If I’m dreaming, don’t wake me up. That was terrific.”
