“America’s Got Talent” Results: Season 11 Judge Cuts With Louis Tomlinson
The “America’s Got Talent” season 11 Judge Cuts finished on Wednesday with the fourth and final episode. Get the results here!
As Gossip Cop has reported, the second round of the NBC competition began last week. Each episode has featured 20 acts who made it past the auditions returning to impress the judges a second time. The catch: Only seven acts from each group of 20 are invited to continue on to the live shows.
Over the course of three shows, 60 acts went before the judges, and the judges chose to keep 21. Now on the last installment, that process continued with the final group of contestants. Guest judge Louis Tomlinson made the first pick, choosing to use his Golden Buzzer on “Rise Up” singer Jayna Brown.
That left the panel with six more slots to fill. They selected: quick-changers Sos and Victoria, mind-reading couple The Clairvoyants, extreme acrobats ThroWings, dance crew Outlawz, juggler Vicktor Kee, and high school choir Musicality.
Those seven acts now join the other Judge Cuts survivors: Magician Jon Dorenbos (guest judge Ne-Yo’s Golden Buzzer), singer Ronee Martin, juggling duo The Passing Zone, young comedienne Lori Mae Hernandez, illusionist Hara, music group Linkin Bridge, the Edgar Family Band, contortionist Sofie Dossi (guest judge Reba McEntire’s Golden Buzzer), comedienne Julia Scotti, young magician Kadan Bart Rockett, knife-throwing duo Deadly Games, contortionist Vello Vaher, songstress Moya Angela, and singer Kadie Lynn, dancing drummers Malevo (guest judge George Lopez’s Golden Buzzer), mother and son dance duo Alla and Daniel, singer Daniel Joyner, mime Tape Face, danger couple Ryan and AmberLynn, magician Blake Vogt, and singer Brian Justin Crum.
They’ll all compete on the live shows, in addition to the four Golden Buzzer acts chosen by the judges during the auditions: opera singer Laura Bretan (Mel B), singer Grace VanderWaal (Howie Mandel), singer Sal Valentinetti (Heidi Klum), and singer Crystal Bevier (Simon Cowell). For the first time, host Nick Cannon also used the advantage, choosing dancer Dorothy Williams. That’s a total of 33 acts, but there may be Wild Card acts still to be announced.
Now, finally, the “AGT” live shows for 2016 will begin next week with 12 acts competing in the first part of the quarterfinals! Gossip Cop will continue to have full coverage.
