AGT Reveals MORE Semifinalists!
“America’s Got Talent” revealed even more semifinalists for season nine on Wednesday’s results show.
As Gossip Cop reported, 12 acts competed in the third quarterfinal round on Tuesday, with Anna Clendening’s poignant performance serving as an impromptu Robin Williams tribute, and Christian Stoinev and his dog Scooby earning one of the multiple standing ovations.
Like in past weeks, only five would get to go on to the eventual semifinals, with the other seven acts eliminated from the show.
But with so many stellar performances this round, there was some heartbreak in store.
So, which contestants did America — and the judges — choose to keep in the competition?
– Band Sons of Serendip
– Shadow dancers Blue Journey
– Singer Paul Ieti
– Balancer Christian Stoinev
– Acrobats AcroArmy (chosen by the judges)
Clendening, however, was shockingly eliminated, and the last slot was between AcroArmy and mystifier Mike Super, who only received Howie Mandel’s vote to continue on.
Also sent home was “Today’s Got Talent” winner Cornell Bhangra.
Next week, the quarterfinals conclude with the last batch of Top 48 contestants.
