Amber Portwood was released from an Indiana jail on Friday morning, an official from the Madison County Sheriff’s Department confirms to Gossip Cop.

The “Teen Mom” star, who had been held since her December 19 arrest for violating her probation, is on home detention until she is admitted to a residential drug treatment program.

As Gossip Cop previously reported, Portwood agreed to a plea deal that allows her to avoid a five-year prison sentence for being caught with a number of prescription drugs, if she completes the rehab program.

Portwood is still on probation for assaulting her baby daddy Gary Shirley, an incident that was caught on camera by MTV.
