Amanda Seyfried is close to being cast as porn star Linda Lovelace in a biopic about the Deep Throat star.

Lovelace is expected to begin production in January, competing against a second Lovelace movie called Inferno.

That movie was once supposed to star Seyfried’s Mean Girls counterpart Lindsay Lohan, who’s since been replaced by Malin Akerman.

Peter Sarsgaard is reportedly in discussions to play Chuck Traynor, Lovelace’s husband-pornographer, in the Seyfried version.

Matt Dillon has that role in the Akerman movie.

The dueling Lovelace movies are kind of like the rival Snow White productions… just more about 1970s porn.
