Amanda Bynes Strikes DUI Plea Deal
The reduced charge is referred to as “wet reckless,” and Bynes’ attorney Rich Hutton formally accepted the agreement in court on Monday.
Under the terms of the deal, the troubled actress will be given 3 years of probation, must attend an alcohol education course, and will be mandated to pay fines.
Following her April 2012 bust for driving under the influence, Bynes asked President Obama to fire the arresting officer.
Meanwhile, the star’s bong-throwing case is expected to be dismissed if she continues to receive therapy in the coming months.
