Amanda Bynes NOT In Talks For Dancing With The Stars, Despite Claim (EXCLUSIVE)
Amanda Bynes is NOT in talks for “Dancing With The Stars,” despite a wrong report in this week’s tabloids. A source close to the production exclusively tells Gossip Cop that the story is false.
Star was the first to spark the wrong rumor, quoting a supposed “show insider” as saying, “Amanda has been talking to ABC about doing the show next season. The producers think she’d be perfect.” The magazine goes on to claim, “While Amanda has said no to reality TV before, our source says she is seriously considering it… if the price is right.”
The tabloid’s “insider” adds, “If there’s any reality show to be on, it’s this one. They pay some stars $300,000 season,” before going on to allege, “Everyone thinks Amanda is nuts, but she’s excited to change how the world sees her.”
Contrary to the magazine’s claim, Bynes’ “comeback” is NOT set for “Dancing With The Stars.” A production source exclusively tells Gossip Cop, “She is not currently in negotiations.” While talks for the upcoming fall season are still a ways away, Gossip Cop recently corrected stories falsely claiming Bruce Jenner and Nina Dobrev were similarly headed to the dance competition show.
As Gossip Cop has reported, “Dancing With The Stars” is in the midst of its 20th season. Earlier in the week, Willow Shields was shockingly eliminated, despite routinely receiving high scores from the judges. TELL US: Who would you like to see on the next season of “Dancing With The Stars”?
