Amanda Bynes Arrested for DUI

Amanda Bynes was arrested for DUI on early Friday morning, Gossip Cop has confirmed exclusively.

The actress was busted in West Hollywood and is still in custody, police tell us.

Bynes’ troubles began at 3 A.M., when her car collided with the back of a Los Angeles County Sheriff deputy’s vehicle in a failed attempt to pass by it.

Both the deputy’s car and Bynes’ BMW had minor paint damage, though no one was injured.

The former “What I Like About You” star was then arrested for driving under the influence.

Bynes has since been released after making bail, which was set at $5,000.

Last month, Bynes was pulled over by police in Los Angeles for talking on her cell phone – and then sped away.

    She actually chose to quit acting after she was in Easy A, so her career is non-existent because she chose for it to be. That doesn’t mean what she’s done isn’t stupid, it just means it’s not necessarily because she’s not as famous.

    Treat her like anyone else who gets a DUI….not sure she gave up much of a career….her talent was pretty thin from what I saw. Just a person marketed by big business to sell there shows to teen girls.

    Remember when this girl used to be the biggest goody two-shoes there was? Never drank. Never went to clubs. Never did anything wrong. My, my, look how far the mighty have fallen.

    Honestly, I don’t mean to rub dirt in her face (esp. considering what she does in her free time is none of my business). I just find it… interesting when these one-time “role models” come crashing back down to Earth.

    Moral of the story is, don’t put yourself out there like your some perfect angel who can do no wrong.

    And I know its not always the entertainer’s fault. There’s pressure from management and such to sell the perfect image. But I wish someone would tell these youngins that no career is worth losing your sanity over.

    They would never believe it. The career, money and adulation mean everything to them and when they lose it they crash. Then alcohol drugs and seedy people are waiting for them.

    its human to make mistakes- what really shows what kind of character someone has is how they rise after they have tripped up a bit…maybe even fallen.
