Do not mess with Alyssa Milano on Twitter.
Milano, who has more than 400,000 followers and every day graciously passes on helpful tips to Tweeters, rightfully confronted someone pretending to be her. The impostor took Milano’s screen name, Alyssa_Milano, and deviously added another underscore (_) so that it would be difficult to detect that Alyssa__Milano (with two underscores) wasn’t the real deal.
Well, fortunately Milano busted the woman – in under 140 characters – and Tweeted, “Maybe Alyssa__Milano would like to tell us all why she is pretending to be me.”
It worked because now when you click on the faker, it reads, “Sorry, the profile you were trying to view has been suspended due to strange activity.”
Strange indeed.
