Bradley Cooper and Emma Stone star in Aloha, an upcoming movie from Cameron Crowe. Watch the first trailer below!

The Oscar-nominated Cooper plays a military contractor who goes back to working for the U.S. Space program, where he’s supervised by an air force liaison played by fellow Oscar nominee Stone. Sparks may be flying, but Cooper’s character is also reconnecting with his former flame, portrayed by Rachel McAdams. The preview teases, “Sometimes you have to say goodbye… before you can say hello.”

The movie marks a cinematic reunion for Cooper and McAdams, who appeared together in 2005’s Wedding Crashers. In addition to Stone, they’re joined this time around by Bill Murray, John Krasinski and Alec Baldwin. Crowe, of course, is responsible for some of film’s best romantic dramedies, such as Say Anything, Jerry Maguire and Almost Famous.

Aloha was at first to star Ben Stiller and Reese Witherspoon when the project was developed back in 2008-2009. After getting postponed, it was re-developed in 2013 with new leads, and filming took place in Hawaii that fall. Originally expected to be released last December, the dramedy is now slated to hit theaters on May 29. Check out the trailer video below, and tell us what you think!
