Alicia Keys ‘Holy War’ “The Voice” Video – Watch Performance!
Alicia Keys performed “Holy War” on Tuesday’s “The Voice.” Watch below!
Keys teased on Twitter before the live broadcast, “Excited to perform on #TheVoice tonight and share music from my new album HERE with y’all #VoiceTop12 #AliciaIsHERE.” She then asked her 24.3 million followers, “If you could choose which [music] I would [sing] tonight… which would it be?” The two options included in a poll were “Holy War” and “Blended Family.”
Later on the actual show, Keys sang a snippet of “Blended Family” before going into “Holy War,” for which fellow coach Adam Levine accompanied her on guitar. Both songs are from Here, Keys’ sixth studio album, which just came out earlier this month. While “Blended Family” is considered the first official single, the deluxe edition of the record features “In Common,” which was released as a single back in May.
As Gossip Cop reported at the time, Keys performed “In Common” during “The Voice” season 10 that same month. The singer, of course, is now a full-fledged coach on season 12, which began airing in September. After the Blind Auditions, Battles, Knockouts and Live Playoffs, Keys’ team was finally narrowed down to three artists.
That includes We McDonald, one of this cycle’s frontrunners, as well as Christian Cuevas and Sa’Rayah. Keys risks potentially losing one by the end of tonight’s results show. But no matter how she fares, Keys will be back as a coach in season 13. And that will presumably include more performances. Watch “Holy War” below!
