Alicia Keys’ considerable talents were put to unique use this week on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.”

The “Girl on Fire” singer sat at the piano and delivered a stunning, mournful rendition of the theme song for “Disney’s Adventures of the Gummi Bears,” the 1980s and 1990s kids’ cartoon series.

Keys reached deep and found an emotional core to the lyrics that the first version sorely lacked.
