Ali Caldwell “The Voice” Knockout Video: Watch “No Ordinary Love” Performance!
Ali Caldwell knocked out Lauren Diaz on “The Voice” on Monday. Watch below!
As Gossip Cop reported, Caldwell’s Blind Audition performance of “Dangerous Woman” led all four coaches to hit their buttons. She chose to join Miley Cyrus’ team, and Caldwell was paired with Courtnie Ramirez for the Battles. Together they sang “Hit Or Miss,” and Caldwell emerged victorious, although Ramirez was stolen by Alicia Keys.
Now for the third round of the competition, Caldwell elected to sing Sade’s “No Ordinary Love,” while opponent Diaz picked “Rise Up” by Andra Day. Both received extra guidance from key advisers Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. At one point, Hill said Caldwell’s voice was like a “freight train,” and even compared her to Whitney Houston. Meanwhile, the superstars worried that Diaz’s performance came off as “contrived,” and urged her to show more “heart.”
After their respective performances, it was Caldwell who had Cyrus on her feet, screaming, “You did it!” Adam Levine told the aspiring star, “To say that you could win this thing would be an understatement.” Blake Shelton agreed, “Ali, my gosh, there’s no doubt you’re going to go far into this competition.”
So, despite a valiant effort from Diaz, it was no surprise when Cyrus chose Caldwell as the winner. Gossip Cop will have video shortly. Check out the video below!
