Alfred Enoch appeared on Friday’s “The View” to discuss the controversial “How To Get Away With Murder” winter finale. Check out the spoiler-filled video below!
As Gossip Cop reported, Thursday’s “HTGAWM” finally revealed the death that had been teased since the beginning of the season. The fatality was none other than Enoch’s character Wes, stunning viewers. Hours after the broadcast, Enoch spoke about the “How To Get Away With Murder” twist on “GMA,” and then made his way to “The View.”
After the actor joined the co-hosts at the table, Goldberg exclaimed, “So, that was dramatic!” Sarah Haines wondered, “Why would they do that to this face?!” Paula Faris then stated the obvious, pointing out, “[He’s] very much alive right here.”
That led Enoch to amusingly quip, “I bounce back!” He went on to recount how he found out about his character’s fate approximately two months ago, long before receiving the actual script. “Could you imagine I turn up at the table read, and I get to the end and all of a sudden my face falls,” the Brit joked about the alternate scenario.
More seriously, Enoch said of the game-changing development, “It’s sad, but I think it’s good for the show.
