Alfred Enoch “How To Get Away With Murder” Interview On “GMA” (VIDEO)
Alfred Enoch appeared on Friday’s “GMA” just hours after the shocking winter finale of “How To Get Away With Murder.” Watch below, but be forewarned: Major spoilers ahead!
As Gossip Cop reported, Thursday night’s “HTGAWM” was appropriately titled “Who’s Dead,” and revealed it was Enoch’s character Wes who was #UnderTheSheet. The key scene was replayed on “Good Morning America,” after which Lara Spencer exclaimed, “No! Why Wes?! Why did it have to be Wes?!” The actor candidly answered, “Ask the creator. It wasn’t my choice!”
Enoch shared how he learned his character’s fate “about two months ago,” after being called to the office of creator Pete Nowalk, who “broke the news.” While the ABC drama is known for its surprising fatalities, the actor actually expressed relief that his cast mates can rest easy for now. “I hope the weight is lifted and they’re like, ‘We’re safe,'” he admitted.
The former Harry Potter star, however, went on to note, “It’s called ‘How To Get Away With Murder.’ You never know. How long are you gonna last?” Enoch “happily” confirmed he at least hasn’t had to say goodbye to his co-stars yet since there’s “still the mystery of what happened to Wes.”
Indeed, the second half of the season airing next year will feature Enoch’s character in flashbacks so viewers can learn just how he actually died. Check out the full video below!
