Alec Baldwin: I Wanted to “Gut” and “Kill” TMZ’s Harvey Levin

Alec Baldwin discusses some pretty violent fantasies involving his enemies in the August Vanity Fair cover story.

The “30 Rock” star, who recently got into two intense altercations with overzealous paparazzi photographers in New York, tells the magazine in vivid detail about how he’d like to have dispatched others who have crossed paths with him.

Specifically, he mentions Harvey Levin, the TMZ boss who posted audio of Baldwin’s heated voicemail to daughter Ireland back in 2007.

“I wanted to stick a knife in him and gut him and kill him, and I wanted him to die breathing his last breath looking into my eyes,” Baldwin says of Levin.

Yikes.

The actor also reflects on wanting to murder ex-wife Kim Basinger’s lawyer “with a baseball bat.”

As for Basinger herself, Baldwin describes their current relationship as “cordial,” saying he and she speak “from time to time” about their daughter.

Baldwin got married for a second time — to yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas — on Saturday.

    Why did the media mafia put Mel Gibson on the black list when he had his temper tantrums yet Alec Baldwin has one every other day and everybody thinks it’s funny!He even threatened that he’s going to kill and he gets away with it! What is wrong here?

    Wow how about YOUR actions Mr Baldwin. You think it was wrong of Harvey to post your telephone rant but the fact is if you wouldnt have said it in the first place it wouldnt be out there FOR Harvey to post. Sounds like the blames on the wrong guy here….maybe do a look in the mirror Mr Baldwin

    Actually, I was coming from the email version just to leave a comment along those lines. Here it is:

    “Alec, please don’t turn into Mel Gibson. Because you’re sounding quite a bit more like you’re having a ‘nervous breakdown’ than a ‘mid-life crisis.’ It isn’t funny. It isn’t clever. It isn’t enjoyable. No one is as thrilled with the verbal violence, or the notion of physical violence, as you seem to be. Fantasizing about it ultimately will not be cathartic, it just appears that way in the moment. And if you entirely let yourself go, it will take many years to regain your sanity to socially-acceptable levels. Please turn around now.”

    I kinda wish he had done it. I would miss Alec while he’s in the big house but being rid of Levin and at least one slimy lawyer (technically we would be rid of two slimy lawyers) might be worth it.

    Because Mel Gibson went after women and Jewish people. Notice I said people. Alec Baldwin is just going after bottom feeding maggot paparazzi. It’s kind of like taking pot shots at Nazi’s, or Klan members, or serial killers. They aren’t really people they’re just scumbags who wouldn’t think twice about putting someone’s life in danger or the lives of someone’s children to get that shot. So no one really feels bad when they get punched in the faced or yelled at. Since they don’t feel bad about documenting every little misstep of a person who can blame them. My favorite is when they jump on a person’s car as their driving and then sue the person for driving over their foot. Quite frankly I think we should change the laws and make it okay to hit the paparazzi. We can call it Sock A Pap kind of like Whack A Mole.

    @kks I agree with you. While im not a fan of the papz by a long shot the fact is Alec shouldnt be upset with the media for bringing to light HIS problems….he has no one to blame but himself for his behavior. Pot mest kettle….

    Baldwin restricts his tirades to targets people tend not to like anyway, like the papparazzi. Also, he is a liberal Democrat whereas Mel Gibson is ultra-conservative and open about his hate of just about everything, to the point he makes himself look like a bag of mixed nuts.

    Alec Baldwin has lost his ever loving mind. Why be so mad with Harvey Levin, he not only didn’t tape that conversation, he didn’t leak it. Talking to his child like that was his fault, grow the hell up and own yours. As for Kim Basinger’s lawyer, that man obviously did his job, could that be the reason you dislike him, he took you to the cleaners, lol. One should be careful of what they say. God forbid, if anything happens to these to people, the cops are ringing your bell first. Just think, you use to be a rather sensible guy, but then you are a actor.

    Mel didn’t go after women? Are you serious? Did you miss that he called a cop “Sugartits” or told his girlfriend that he hopes she get raped by a pack of n!&&ers. Did you miss that he has hit not only his girlfriend but hit her while she was holding their child? Also Mel dislike is not a Jewish conspiracy. His craziness was all caught on tape… a number of times… over the years. It’s not even like it was an isolated incident.
