Alec Baldwin Slams NBC’s Today Show for “Stalking” Him Outside His Apartment

Alec Baldwin has taken to Twitter to slam media outlets — including NBC, which airs his show “30 Rock” — for “stalking” him at his New York City apartment.

According to the actor, the “Today“ show has been camped outside his building, presumably hoping to get a comment about alleged stalker Genevieve Sabourin’s affair claims.

The irony of that has not been lost on Baldwin.

“Outside my apt today, along side the other stalkers from the tabloid press, a crew that identified themselves as being with the ‘Today’ show,” he tweeted Tuesday morning.

He went on to add, “I haven’t appeared on the ‘Today’ show in many years. But did they have to camp outside my apt?”

Of course, why would a news outlet broadcast outside the home of a person who’s being stalked?

Anyway, Bladwin continued, “A story about stalking sure brings out the stalkers in the media. But, the ‘Today’ show?”

The “30 Rock” star, who noted how an over-aggressive photographer “tripped over a baby in a stroller” to snap a picture of his fiancee Hilaria Thomas, expressed surprise that the network he works for hadn’t even bothered to reach out to him during this difficult time.

“No one from NBC contacted me until the ‘Today’ show arrived at my apt,” wrote Baldwin, adding, “I think I’m leaving NBC just in time.”

    A wisely chosen illustration is almost essential to fasten the truth upon the ordinary mind, and no teacher can afford to neglect this part of his preparation.

    Perhaps if Mr. baldwin would making everything he is doing public with his twitter nonsense, people would not know where he is all the time. He loves this attention and if they weren’t there he would create some kind of scene to bring the media around him. It’s publicity, and it’s free. He makes me sick.

    It is true the media sucks! But Alec Baldwin needs to learn that he should shut up about his troubles no matter how tempted he is to respond to reporters. He also needs to learn that trying to explain himself and his actions on Twitter or wherever, he just makes the problem worse. Biting his tongue and saying nothing is the absolute best thing he could do. The press may then make up a story of their own, but the truth of that will come out.

    I used to like Alec Baldwin. Was a fan for years. Until he got on Twitter. Based on what I’ve learned about him from reading his Tweets, I’m very luke warm to him now. He’s very opinionated on many things, but doesn’t tolerate differing opinions from others. He comes across as very narcissistic and is very sharp with people. I used to think he was nice, but I don’t think he’s very nice anymore. He seems very mean and nasty to people, jmho. I stopped following him weeks ago.
