Alec Baldwin Pokes Fun of American Airlines Incident on SNL (VIDEO)

Alec Baldwin poked fun at his being kicked off a plane with an appearance as American Airlines Cpt. Steve Rogers on Saturday Night Live’s ”Weekend Update.”

As the pilot, Baldwin tells “Weekend Update” anchor Seth Meyers that the whole incident was “awful,” and that “on behalf of everyone at American Airlines,” he was on “Saturday Night Live” to “issue an apology to Mr. Alec Baldwin.”

“Rogers” further noted that Baldwin is “an American treasure, and I am ashamed at the way he was treated!”

    Luv ya Alec. Good for you and this skit. American Airlines sux. They are pompous asses. I know cuz I’ve flown on their airlines. The stewardesses are uptite rude bitches.

    To me SNL made Alec Baldwin up so well I didn’t recognize him. Unsure if that means I need glasses or its been so long since I watched “30 Rock” . My initial reaction was the skit was very funny. Now that I know its the actor I feel it was rather self congratulatory.

    Sorry, I’m sure I will be attacked for this but I think Alec Baldwin acted like a jerk. His celebrity status does not make him immune to the rules. There was no reason for him to become unhinged.I totally agree that air travel is not an enjoyable experience anymore and I’m sure the flight attendants don’t enjoy it anymore either. But we all need our jobs and don’t need some egotistical ass making it worse.

    SNL ain’t what it use to be…never watch it any more…this is why. It wasn’t funny. Baldwin is a jerk. Don’t care if these celebrities have talent or skill or just luck…they can’t break the law either…off screen and stage…they are subject to real life like the rest of us. They are the first ones to carry a banner for equality and fairness and the little guy…then they set themselves above all that. Hypocrits. This SNL skit is shameful. And those that support it are playing into the ignorance. Admit what it was.
