Alanis Morissette is married.

The singer-songwriter wed rapper Souleye, whose real name is Mario Treadway, on May 22 in Los Angeles, her rep confirms to Gossip Cop. Morissette and Treadway made it official in a small ceremony at their home.

“So happy to share with you that my man Souleye and I got married,” writes Morissette on her Facebook page. “We’re very excited to embark on this journey with each other… sending love… connect soon xo.”

The couple had been dating since last year. It is their first marriage.

Morissette rocketed to critical and commercial stardom in the 1990s, and her Jagged Little Pill album is one of the most successful in history.
