Adrian Peterson Charged With Injury To A Child
Adrian Peterson has been indicted for possible child abuse.
The star Minnesota Vikings running back was reportedly charged for reckless or negligent injury to a child in Montgomery County, Texas.
According to reports, Child Protective Services is investigating a case involving Peterson and his 4-year-old son.
The child is said to have visited Peterson in Texas back in May, according to a TMZ report on the situation.
When the boy returned home to Minnesota after the trip, his mother allegedly noticed injuries and authorities were contacted.
An unconfirmed report says the boy was allegedly disciplined by Peterson with a switch.
NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport says Peterson testified weeks ago to a grand jury, and that the investigation has been ongoing.
Peterson’s attorney has not commented on the situation.
Gossip Cop will have updates.
Last year, Peterson’s two-year-old son died after allegedly being beaten by his mother’s boyfriend Joseph Patterson.
On Friday, the NFL star posted this message to Twitter (see below).
