Adele “All I Ask” Grammys Video: Watch Grammy Awards Performance Here!
Adele performed “All I Ask” at the 2016 Grammys on Monday. Watch below!
At one point, there were issues with the sound, which Adele addressed after the awards. She explained on Twitter, “The piano mics fell on to the piano strings, that’s what the guitar sound was. It made it sound out of tune. S**t happens.” Adele added, “Because of it though… I’m treating myself to an in n out. So maybe it was worth it.
Adele performed “All I Ask” live for the first time at her Radio City Music Hall concert last November, just before the release of her album 25, which features the moving ballad. The track was actually co-written by Bruno Mars, who now introduced Adele to the Grammys stage. At the end of her performance, Adele showed some love for another star, yelling out, “Kendrick [Lamar], you’re amazing!
Adele was one of the first performers announced for the 58th annual Grammy Awards. The evening marks the British superstar’s return to the Grammy stage after last performing at the event four years ago. For the 2012 ceremony, she sang her monster hit “Rolling in the Deep.”
She ended up the night’s big winner, taking home trophies for all six awards she was nominated, tying a female record set by Beyonce. Adele’s also won Grammys at the 2009, 2013 and 2014 ceremonies. She’s scooped up 10 in all, and that number is sure to grow.
With the eligibility cut-off for this year’s Grammys September 30, 2015, Adele’s record-breaking album 25 and its lead single “Hello” from last November are a shoo-in to rack up nominations for next year’s ceremony. Expect Adele to return to the Grammy stage then… and totally clean up.
