Adam Sandler performed the song “Hallelujah” at the 12-12-12 Concert, with a special take on New York and Hurricane Sandy.

Accompanied by Paul Shaffer, Sandler sang “Hallelujah (Sandy, Screw Ya).”

The comedian also made humorous references to the Knicks, Nets, Mayor Bloomberg, Times Square,The Situation, Donald Trump, Lindsay Lohan, A-Rod, and way more!

    Sorry but he is the type of “comedian” who thinks he is funny, but he is actually not. He is awkward! And Hallelujah is a Christian song, and although I know his intention were not bad, I don’t know if he would like the idea of someone mocking a Jewish song.

If you don’t find it funny just turn the channel. The worst thing about the internet is that it gives everyone (myself included) an anonymous soapbox to get up on and spout our opinion as if it actually mattered. Go about your day, I myself will listen to this song probably 20 times by the end of the night, I thought it was the funniest thing he’s done in about 10 years.

    Just because Christians made it there song doesn’t make it a christian song, The original version is ambiguous and be interpreted in many ways.

    i am not an internet commenter, but this pushed me over the edge.

    to the person thinking leonard cohen’s hallelujah was written as a christian song needs to get their head on straight.

    case in point verse 4

    “there was a time when you let me know
    What’s really going on below
    But now you never show it to me, do you?
    And remember when I moved in you
    The holy dove was moving too
    And every breath we drew was Hallelujah”

    do i need to interpret that for you? STOP TRYING TO GRAB EVERYTHING FOR CHRISTIANITY!!! It makes all people of faith and spirituality seem ignorant and deluded.
