Adam Levine and Big Boi performed their new collaboration, “Mic Jack,” on “The Voice” on Tuesday. Watch the video below!

“Mic Jack” is technically Big Boi’s song, with Levine as the featured artist. The rapper released the single last month to lead promotion for his upcoming third solo album, Boomiverse, which will be released in June. Big Boi, of course, is best known for his success with Outkast, but he’s also formidable on his own. This marks his first time on “The Voice” stage, and to make it even more special, he arranged for the premiere of the “Mic Jack” music video to coincide with the performance. If viewers Shazamed the appearance while watching live, they’d be able to watch the brand-new clip.

To say Levine is no stranger to performing on “The Voice” would be a massive understatement. He typically takes the stage a few times each season, performing with his fellow coaches, his artists, and his band Maroon 5. But just like Big Boi has explored music outside his rap duo, Levine has also released songs outside of his group. He famously collaborated with fellow “Voice” coach Christina Aguilera on “Moves Like Jagger,” and teamed up with R.City on “Locked Away,” which they performed together on the NBC music competition back in 2015.

Most recently, Levine led a tribute performance in honor of Christina Grimmie on “The Voice” in April. As Gossip Cop has reported, the rocker remained close with the late singer, who finished third in season six in 2014, until her murder last year. Joined by his current season 12 artists, Levine sang “Hey Jude” in Grimmie’s memory.

Prior to that, Levine and Maroon 5 performed their single “Don’t Wanna Know” on “The Voice” last November. And though he went into this week’s semifinals with just one contestant, Jesse Larson, left on his team, his commitment to the show hasn’t wavered. He’s expected to be back for season 13 this fall.
