Adam Levine, Blake Shelton NOT Feuding Over ‘The Voice’ Winner, Despite Report
Adam Levine is NOT feuding with Blake Shelton because the country star’s contestant won “The Voice” instead of his, despite a ridiculous webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s “false.”
Shelton coached fellow country singer, Sundance Head, to victory on the season finale of the NBC competition show. And now according to RadarOnline, Levine is infuriated that his contestant Billy Gilman was defeated. A so-called “source” tells the site, “Adam said that Blake had totally rigged it, and Blake told Adam that he was just a sore loser after the show wrapped. Adam does not like losing – especially to Blake.”
The outlet’s dubious insider further claims Levine and Shelton “are in constant competition with each other and always have been,” adding, “The fact that their contestants were up against each other as the final two really made for some serious backstage animosity.” The webloid’s questionable source goes on to say that the Maroon 5 frontman “did not congratulate Blake,” who was supposedly “trying to rub his win in everyone’s face.”
But Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the production of “The Voice,” who exclusively assures us the site’s report is entirely “false.” Levine and Shelton are good friends, and there’s simply no tension between the two over the show’s winner. In fact, this isn’t the first time Gossip Cop has had to call out RadarOnline for creating fake drama behind-the-scenes of the show. We recently busted the website for falsely claiming Miley Cyrus was feuding with both Levine and Shelton. This latest supposed dispute is equally nonexistent.
