Adam Levine Given Baby “Ultimatum” By Behati Prinsloo?
Adam Levine was NOT given a baby “ultimatum” by Behati Prinsloo, despite a tabloid cover story. Gossip Cop can bust the report, which comes just days after it was confirmed the couple is expecting their first child.
Now Star has taken that wonderful news and built a sensational story around it for Wednesday’s new issue. The cover announces, “Days Away From Divorce… Behati & Adam Baby Joy & Drama!” The accompanying article states, “They spent nearly two years fighting over when to start a family, which nearly drove them to divorce.” And the blame is placed squarely on Levine.
“When they got engaged, Adam promised Behati they would star trying right away, no questions asked. But he kept dragging his heels about having kids and always came up with an excuse to postpone it,” a so-called “insider” is quoted as saying. The magazine goes on to claim, “Behati got more and more exasperated, and after months of bitter confrontations finally issued an ultimatum.”
The supposed source alleges, “She put her foot down and threatened to see a divorce attorney. She said she wasn’t waiting forever and if he didn’t want a baby, she was out the door.” It’s said that the “divorce threats finally drove Adam to get his head straight.”
Which is a convenient way to explain all the tabloid stories the gossip rags have printed over the last few years about Levine and Prinsloo supposedly being unhappily married. With the pregnancy news, Star is covering its butt by claiming all its previous marriage trouble allegations were true, but now there’s a happy ending to it all. It’s just more lies, though.
Levine and Prinsloo are having a baby now because they genuinely want to. It has nothing to do with a “shocking ultimatum” that “saved their marriage.” It wasn’t in need of saving, but Star clearly is.
