Adam Lambert Says He’s “Embarrassed By Drunkenness” in Finland

Adam Lambert says he’s “embarrassed” by the drunken brawl he had outside a gay club in Helsinki with his Finnish-born boyfriend Sauli Koskinen.

Following an altercation outside the club Don’t Tell Mama in the early morning hours of Thursday, Lambert and Koskinen were separated by the cops, and taken to two different police station jails.

Lambert has now tweeted, “Violence is not to be taken lightly. Embarrassed by drunkenness. No punches thrown, no injuries and no charges.”

The “American Idol” runner-up, however, seems to be changing his tune a little.

Yesterday, in a tweet featuring several pseudo-mathematical equations, Lambert noted that he and Koskinen were having “hangover burgers” and “laughing” about their fight.

In that same tweet, he wrote, “jail + guilt + press = lesson learned.”

    i think he was originally laughing off what actually happened. then when he saw the press erroneously reporting that their fight was violent, he properly clarified.

    I think he has learned his lesson. “Violence is not to be taken lightly” shows that he understands himself what he did!

    I absolutely think he is embarrassed by the press coverage. This guy thinks he can do no wrong and that anyone who doesn’t like his actions is simply judging him because he is gay. He’s an a$$, plain and simple.

    No. I think he’s embarrassed. He was my neighbor at one point. He’s a very nice man and very easy going. Very pleasant and gentlemanly. He’s only been at this “celebrity” thing a couple of years and hasn’t quite gotten used to how the paparazzi and the haters will pounce. And they WILL pounce. Look at the comments on here from people who don’t even know him/have never met him. “he’s an ass..” Really? You know this because….? Anyone who makes comments like that (or blindly agrees to it) is the one who’s an ass.

    you tell em Jennifer. I’ve never seen Adam blame anything on people picking on him for being gay, he’s completely open and above board about it. You guys don’t know jack!

    I think he was embarassed and did learn his lesson. But it was something he did while drunk so of course he’s going to laugh it off, especially since both of them were. But the press coverage obviously made it seem bigger than it was so of course he’s going to feel more embarassed about it, especially if the press is making the story bigger than it was.
