Aaron Gibson, Sa’rayah “The Voice” Battle Video: Watch “I’ll Take Care Of You” Performance
Aaron Gibson and Sa’rayah sang “I’ll Take Care Of You” for their Battle on “The Voice” on Monday, with two coaches fighting for the steal. Watch below!
As Gossip Cop reported, Gibson’s take on “Losing My Religion” had three coaches fighting over him during the Blind Auditions. The lone holdout was Adam Levine, who admitted he regretted not turning around. In the end, it was Miley Cyrus who scored the aspiring star for her team.
Now the coach decided to pit Gibson against Sa’Rayah for the second round of the NBC competition. Cyrus encouraged Gibson to play guitar, to which he happily agreed. And with help from guest adviser Joan Jett, Sa’rayah was urged to hold back on her riffs a bit.
Still, both went all out for the eventual performance, which had all four coaches on their feet. Levine commented afterward, “Aaron, man, what the hell was that?!” Blake Shelton told Sa’rayah, “You were born to sing that song!” And Keys said, “I was so excited the world got to witness what a crafted, beautiful artist sounds like.”
Cyrus even admitted, “This is probably the hardest decision I’ll make in all of my battles.” But she named Gibson the winner, freeing up Sa’rayah for the steal. And both Shelton and Keys went for it! That gave the power back to Sa’rayah, and she chose Keys to be her new coach! Check out the video below!
