Nick Lachey Says 98 Degrees Reuniting For Summer Tour is NOT True

A couple of weeks ago, a webloid with virtually no traffic manufactured a rumor that 98 Degrees was reuniting soon.
Hacks like Perez Hilton and others naturally picked it up, and reported that the boy band would embark on a 15-city tour this summer.
Well, the rumor was (and is) NOT true.
Anyway, Nick Lachey finally Gossip Cop’d the story and tweeted, “So psyched to see all the excitement for a 98 degree tour, but the only tour I’ll be doing this summer is at baby’s ‘r us!”
As we previously reported, Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are expecting their first child together in late summer/early fall.
Repeat: Despite the previous rumor, 98 Degrees is NOT reuniting for a summer tour.
Maybe now that the band got some press, they’ll be able to book an actual tour down the road.
