“7th Heaven” Cast Reunites Without Stephen Collins (PHOTO)
Catherine Hicks, Barry Watson, Mackenzie Roseman and Beverley Mitchell all stepped out to support Biel at the opening of her new restaurant, Au Fudge, in Los Angeles. Mitchell shared a photo from the gathering on WhoSay and Instagram, writing, “So much fun supporting our girl @JessicaBiel on the launch of her amazing new restaurant @aufudge! Love these people like family!”
Indeed, the stars are all huddled together in the snapshot as if taking a family portrait. Mitchell included the hashtags, “#nothinglikefamily #7thheavenforever #aufudge #familyfriendly #getfudgedup.” The hangout marked one of the first times the cast members have been seen together since Collins’ molestation scandal began in the fall of 2014.
As Gossip Cop reported, the show’s “Reverend Camden” patriarch confessed to inappropriately touching three girls. When the shocking abuse was first made public, Hicks initially came to her TV husband’s defense, saying, “Stephen’s a good guy, in my opinion.” She insisted no one on the show had any idea of his misdeeds.
A year ago, in January 2015, Collins said he still had the “support” of “7th Heaven” fans and some of his former co-stars, though he did not name names. It’s unknown if he was invited to Friday’s gathering, though it seems unlikely given that Au Fudge is partially geared towards kids. See the full photo Mitchell shared below.
