Gossip Cop would like to thank the New York Post for confirming that Anna Paquin is NOT pregnant . . . nine days after we said she wasn’t. Perez Hilton speculated back on August 21 that Paquin, engaged to “True Blood” co-star Stephen Moyer, was “carrying more than just her hat!” when photographed in Beverly Hills. He was – surprise!! – wrong. And Gossip Cop set the record straight that same day. But it took until this morning for the Post to come to the same conclusion.

An online sports betting site has offered odds on which of nine celebrity bachelors will be the next to become a father. And “Twilight” hunk Robert Pattinson leads the way with a +350 pay line! (Actors Shia Labeouf and Adrian Grenier are next, at +400 and +450, respectively.) This means that a $100 bet on Pattinson will win $350.

UPDATED 8:28PM At 5:23 p.m police received a 911 phone call by someone who could not gain access to DJ AM’s Lafayette street apartment. The person called the Fire department and EMS. EMS responded and called him dead on the scene before 6 p.m. A New York Police Department spokesperson confirmed to Gossip Cop, “There does not appear to be any criminality.”

Both sides of the Atlantic have been beeping loudly ever since Bob Dylan said on his radio show, “Theme Time Radio Hour,” that he’s in negotiations with car companies to lend his voice to their satellite navigation systems. The “Highway 61 Revisted” singer told listeners that he had spoken with auto manufacturers, and that he would warble directions like, “Left at the next street. No, right. You know what? Just go straight.” Dylan then said, “I probably shouldn’t do it because whichever way I go, I always end up at one place – on Lonely Avenue.”
